“We love Westminster for various reasons; the community, the teachers, that it’s primarily outside classroom experiences, but the most important thing to us is that it’s play based. Play is vital for a child’s development, and the WPDS model follows what is developmentally appropriate for each child’s age. Through play, our child has learned how to interact with her peers, what her physical abilities are, and has learned problem-solving skills. She has learned how to use her imagination to create things in the outdoor spaces at Westminster. I have seen her confidence grow and her ability to regulate her emotions improve during her time at WPDS. We are very thankful for a play-based experience for our child before entering traditional school.”
